Back in the Water

Teaching will wear you out, then there is May. May is the most chaotic month on the school calendar. Exams, tournaments, graduation... its all in May. So after a month hiatus another batch of paintings. This offering is something new. i experimented with plaster on canvas, then painted with watercolor on top. I am very pleased with the outcome and love the full bodied color that is brought out by the finish. Enjoy

This last piece is a tribute to Bill Doss. Mr. Doss is an avid fly fisherman, my principal and boss. When asked to summarize the impact he has made over the years i could think of no greater name than a Fisher of Men. I made the frame out of an old fence a friend had torn down. i thought it complimented the work nicely
